Omaha Performing Arts Ambassador Program

Who are the Omaha Performing Arts Ambassadors?

The Ambassadors is a volunteer organization that supports Omaha Performing Arts, the Orpheum Theater and the Holland Performing Arts Center. Ambassadors provide patrons with quality customer service and help create a positive performance experience. Ambassadors also provide valuable services as greeters, ushers, gift shop assistants, information aides and tour guides.

Ambassadors play a large role at the Holland Performing Arts Center and the Orpheum Theater. They get to know our patrons on a more personal level. All that is needed is a time commitment and a love of people and the theater.

Led by professional House Managers, the Ambassadors are truly just that - ambassadors – representing the entertainers, the theater, and in a larger sense, Omaha.

What is required of an Omaha Performing Arts Ambassador?

  • Training - which starts with the orientation and continues on the job with pre-event briefings and newsletters
  • Ability to move quickly and safely up and down stairs
  • Ability to stand for periods of time
  • Wear black and white clothing - name badge provided
  • Enjoy serving others, making theater patrons feel welcome
  • Enjoy live entertainment

How do I sign-up for the next orientation session or find out more?

  • Sign up online! Simply click here, fill out the online form, and you will be contacted soon regarding orientation. OR,
  • E-mail the House Manager at ambassadors@omahaperformingarts.org. Please include your name, telephone and e-mail contact information. OR,
  • Call the Ambassador Hotline, (402) 661-8439. In the information voice mailbox, leave a message with your name and telephone number. The House Manager will return your e-mail or call.

** Only those who have attended an orientation session will be allowed to serve as Ambassadors for Omaha Performing Arts.

Reservations for orientations are recommended in order to ensure there are enough materials for everyone.
